Dinner rotates through themed restaurants — Mexican at Adelita, Italian at Mamma Mia, grill at Steakville and Asian at Tao Cat — and the Alegría Spa adds a water circuit. Booking a Privileged room unlocks a private beach area and the beachfront BLoved restaurant and bar.

Questions about Catalonia Royal Tulum

Answers from the resort's official information. Policies can change — we re-check them for your dates.

Tao Cat, the Asian restaurant, requires a prior reservation, subject to availability. At the à la carte dinner restaurants, men may not wear shorts or sleeveless shirts, and closed shoes are required.

Is there a cenote at the hotel?

Cenotes are a feature of the surrounding region rather than the resort itself. Diving courses and excursions can be booked through the hotel.

How far is it from Playa del Carmen and Tulum?

About 20 minutes by car from Playa del Carmen and 30 minutes from the Tulum ruins. The Riviera Maya coast is served by both Cancún and Tulum international airports.

What does a Privileged room add?

Privileged guests enjoy a private beach area with snack and drink service, the BLoved Bar and the beachfront BLoved à la carte restaurant. They also receive early check-in or late check-out when available, 10% off spa services and extras, and a pillow menu.

What are the check-in and payment rules?

Check-in is from 3:00 p.m. and check-out is by 12:00 p.m. The cardholder's name must match the guest's, and a valid card and ID are required at check-in. Under Mexican law, US-dollar cash is not accepted.
