Garza Blanca Resort & Spa Cancún opened in December 2020 on the beach at Costa Mujeres, just north of Cancún, run by Mexico's TAFER Hotels & Resorts. Every one of its 452 accommodations is a suite or residence, from 588 sq ft junior suites to multi-level penthouse lofts, most with a hammock on the terrace.
Guests choose between an All-Inclusive plan — which adds the restaurants of sister resort Villa del Palmar Cancún — and a room-only European Plan. The adults-only Rooftop has an infinity pool, Spa Imagine is the largest spa in the TAFER portfolio, and children aged 4–12 have a free Kids' Club.

Is Garza Blanca Cancun all-inclusive?
Choose either the All-Inclusive (Gourmet Culinary) plan or the European Plan, which is room only. The All-Inclusive plan covers meals, drinks by the glass, activities, taxes and gratuities, and applies to everyone in the suite. Spa services, bottles of wine or liquor, select culinary events and airport transfers are extra.
Is it adults-only?
No. Families, couples and groups are all welcome, and there is a free Kids' Club for ages 4–12. The Rooftop pool and bar are reserved for adults 18 and over.
Where exactly is it?
In Costa Mujeres, in the Playa Mujeres area north of Cancún, about 15 km from the Hotel Zone. The airport is roughly 30–35 minutes away, depending on traffic.
Is the beach private?
The resort sits directly on a quiet stretch of beach. As with every beach in Mexico, it is public by law.
Do the suites have private Jacuzzis?
Standard suites do not have private Jacuzzis, but swim-up categories open onto a pool from the terrace. The penthouse lofts have a rooftop Jacuzzi, and the 3 Bedroom Oceanfront Residence has a private Jacuzzi.
How are children charged on the All-Inclusive plan?
Children aged 4 to 12 pay 50% of the All-Inclusive rate, and adult rates apply from age 13. The Kids' Club for ages 4–12 is free. Adults traveling with minors must show official documents proving their relationship.
What about sargassum?
A team clears sargassum from the beach every day. Conditions vary by season along this coast.
