Playa del Carmen · Riviera MayaOcean by H10 Hotels
Four resorts in one on Playa Xcalacoco — for families, couples and adults-only escapes.

Overview
Ocean Riviera Paradise opened in December 2016 on Playa Xcalacoco, about ten minutes north of Playa del Carmen. Its 974 rooms are divided into four sections with different moods: Paradise by the beach, Family beside the water park, the adults-only El Beso and the premium Privilege.
Families have a water park, the Daisy Club for ages 4–12 and a Teen Club for 13–17, while El Beso guests get their own pool and swim-up bar. Dining follows an unlimited model in which à la carte restaurants such as La Locanda, Sakura and Amaranto need no reservation, and evenings bring a theatre, bowling and live music.

No, it welcomes families. El Beso is an adults-only section for guests 18 and over who book an El Beso room; it has its own pool and swim-up bar, and its guests can use the whole resort.
El Beso is the adults-only section, with its own pool, bar and Blue Moon breakfast. Privilege is the premium service tier, with private check-in, butler service, the Privilege Lounge, an exclusive pool and beach area, and priority restaurant seating. Each is a separate room category.
Most do not. The à la carte restaurants work without prior reservation, and only fine-dining experiences require a booking. Privilege guests receive priority seating.
Daytime is casual, though swimwear must be covered and footwear is required. À la carte dinners call for smart casual: no sportswear, swimwear, sleeveless shirts or caps.
The resort is about 50 km, roughly 50–55 minutes, from Cancún International Airport. Transfers are complimentary only for bookings made directly on the hotel's website with a minimum stay; other bookings pay separately.
Spa treatments, Dive It! diving and motorized water sports, the arcade, laundry, babysitting and some dishes and wines are charged separately. Privilege and El Beso are higher-priced room categories.
The Daisy Club welcomes ages 4–12 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the Teen Club is for ages 13–17. There is also a water park in the family pool area.
